Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 May 2026 · Effective: 17 May 2026
mcpdone is operated by a human partner ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
mcpdone.com does not use web forms or sign-up flows. When you contact us via the hello@mcpdone.com email links on this site, you share whatever information you choose to include — typically your name, email address, company name, team size, and a description of your project. We collect only what you send us.
If you engage us for a paid service, we may also collect information necessary to deliver the engagement: repository access details, API credentials for test environments, and relevant technical context. We request only the minimum access needed.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and scope a quote.
- To deliver the agreed services and provide follow-up support.
- To invoice and process payment.
We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as described in section 4 below.
3. Cookies and tracking
mcpdone.com sets no first-party cookies and runs no client-side analytics. We load the Tailwind CSS framework from the Tailwind CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com), which may log your IP address as a standard server request log. We do not access or use those logs.
4. Third-party processors
- Google Workspace (Gmail): Our business email runs on Google Workspace. Emails you send to hello@mcpdone.com are processed by Google under Google's data processing terms.
- GitHub: Sample deliverables are hosted on GitHub. Clicking GitHub links from this site takes you to GitHub, whose own privacy policy applies.
- Stripe: Once Stripe is activated for payments, payment processing will be handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe processes card data directly — we never receive or store your full card details.
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Delivery work is produced by Claude, an AI made by Anthropic. For Build and Team Setup engagements, relevant project context is included in prompts sent to the Anthropic API. We do not include personally identifying client information in prompts unless it is directly necessary to the deliverable. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of API data.
5. Data retention
We retain project-related emails, deliverables, and related correspondence for 36 months after the engagement closes, then delete them unless we are required by law to keep them longer. You may request earlier deletion (see section 7).
6. Data security
Email is our primary data channel, secured via Google Workspace (TLS-encrypted transit, enterprise-grade storage). We do not store client data outside of email threads and private GitHub repositories. Access to project credentials is limited to the operator handling your engagement and is revoked on completion.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are based, you may have data-protection rights under applicable law — for example, the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or POPIA. These can include the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to how it is processed.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mcpdone.com. We respond within 30 calendar days.
8. Children
Our services are directed at businesses and professional developers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. If you have an active engagement when we make material changes, we will notify you by email.
